So we went to parent teacher conference last night and were informed, no surprise to us, that Zachary is the perfect balance! He got all A's on his report card and all 5's in citizenship except one 3. His 3 was under "stays on task, and uses time well". Well I don't know where the kid gets it from, but he is chatty! He is a socialite! His teacher actually thinks it is really good cause he said Zachary is one of the top 5 kids in his class and he says that usually the smarter kids are socially awkward. He says Zachary has the PERFECT balance. He is so smart, but he is super social too! We are so proud of him. He is a good kid! He reads on a 7th grade level and has already surpassed what they want him to know at the end of this year. This picture was taken in the summer when he desperately needed a haircut. He took this picture of himself so he was concentrating pretty hard. Then when he saw it he said, "I look pissed." We did the mo hawk just to bug grandma and it didn't even last all day. After he got to grandmas and was there a few hours he called me at work and asked if he could comb it down! He cracks me up!

Well congratulations on having on of the smart ones. My parents got 2 smart ones and 2 not so smart ones.

Hey Zachary, cool hair! Congratulations on the good report from school. Learning is a lifelong process and you are off to a great start. Keep up the good work!
He is so amazing! His citizenship might continue to be a 3 if he's already learned everything he needs to know for the year. Bo-ring! Has he considered just teaching the class?
