OOOOOOOHHHHHHH
This is the face we most often see when Kortnee is content. This was what I found her doing in her bed one morning. She just looks around and without making a sound seems to say oooohhhh! She is so cute!

One day shy of 4 weeks old!
Here are a couple of pictures at church. She started fussing during Priesthood meeting so Jon took her out and played with the camera instead. These are pretty close up, since Jon was holding her and taking the pictures.....but isn't she just beautiful!?!? I can't believe she has been here for 4 weeks already!!!!!

The Great Houdini
Since Kortnee has been home from the hospital we swaddle her at night. Well at first we were just wrapping her pretty good with her arms in or out....but then our friend gave us a book about having a happy baby and we learned that swaddling very tightly at night makes a huge difference. Ever since we have been doing that, she has slept ALOT better! Thanks Kristen for the book. Anyway, getting to the reason for my post. While she sleeps alot better being swaddled with her arms tucked tightly and straight.......when she is actually awake, she hates it. She tries everything to get her arms out. So I put her down on Sunday morning at about 7:00 to get a little more sleep and she slept ok for a little while, then starting about at 8:00 I could hear her through the monitor just grunting and struggling, but not crying. So when I went to get up to get ready for church at 9:00, this is what I found. Not only had she managed to get her arm out of the blanket with all that grunting and struggling, but she had actually gotten her arm completely out the neck of her pajamas. And as you can see, she was very content and sleeping soundly. She is the great HOUDINI.
This is what I saw first....her bare arm coming out the top of her blanket, and I knew her pajamas were long sleeved.

This is her without the blanket on, with her arm sticking out the neck of her pajamas! Hilarious!

A few more!
Everyone keeps asking how Zachary is liking his new role as big brother. HE LOVES IT! He is so cute with her and wants to help so much. He is such a good big brother and is such a big help. He always says how cute she is...it is sweet!
Here are a couple of pictures from the day we left the hospital. We left on the 24th of July, so we decided to be festive. We got Kortnee all dressed up in her patriotic best...took a few pictures, and then decided that she didn't quite look girly enough and decided to change her into something pink!
This is the outfit that we left the hospital in. Jon had picked it out in the store of what she should come home from the hospital in. I think the nurse thought we were crazy because she came in one time and she had the red, white, and blue outfit on.....and she came in the next and she was dressed differently. I guess that is what you get when you get to play dress up with a cute little girl!
