Two Month Appointment

So this post is a little late.....Kortnee had her two month appointment on September 24th. She is getting so big. She weighed 13 pounds 7 ounces. She is in the 50th percentile for her height, 75 percentile for her head size, and wait for it.........96th percentile for weight! Can you say, "straight cream?" Everyone is always telling me how chubby she is and how her cheeks are so cute, but I have had two people say she looks like a four month old and I am starting to get a complex. Just kidding, I am just so happy that she is healthy!!! She is our sweet baby girl and we love her so much!!!! This picture was taking on September 20th, the day before her two month birthday.

Poker Face/Poster Child For Walmart

Our family was playing our favorite card game, "hand and foot" and Jon posed her in front of some cards. She was not very happy so we decided she must not have had a good hand. See below for Kortnee's "poker face". Apparently we need to work with her on this one. Know when to hold em, know when to fold em, but don't let everyone know what your holdin'

So my mom and I went to Walmart and Kortnee was getting ticked being in her carseat. My mom got her out and was carrying her around and then she was getting tired of carrying her so she put her in the basket and held her there....this picture is so funny because you can barely see my mom's hand, the basket clearly says "walmart" and she looks so big. Then when I was showing it off people were discusted that I would put her in a filthy walmart basket....so to those of you who are thinking I am a terrible mom, just pretend you didn't see this. For those of you who think it is hilarious, please see picture below.

Kortnee's Blessing

Here are a few pictures from Kortnee's blessing. It was a special day! I also got some pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids in her blessing dress. She is such a blessing in our lives!

First Smiles

Kortnee has shown us a couple of smiles here or there....but last Friday she really showed us lots of smiles for a long period of time. She is changing so much. I can't believe it. Her eyes are starting to change too. They have been blue up until this point, but they are starting to get a few brownish flecks right around her pupils. Jon and I both have hazel eyes, so we were expecting them to change....but it just shows she is growing up. She will be 8 weeks on Monday! I can't believe it!!!!!

She seems to be saying, "Oh Mom, don't kiss me in front of people."
Cute smiles!
This one she looks like she is being sneeky trying to get away with something.
This one she looks like a sumo baby! Her cheeks are so chubby!

First Day of School

Here are a couple pictures of the first day of 5th grade. There aren't very many, because as you may know, when your kids start to grow up, they are more cool, and are less likely to let you take pictures of them in front of their friends. This year is pretty interesting though.....this picture shows Zachary with his teacher's name. Mrs. Davis. The interesting thing is, I also had this same Mrs. Davis for 5th grade! Zachary told his friend DJ that, and DJ said, "wow, is Mrs. Davis like 100 years old?" Sorry Mrs. Davis!

It's been awhile!

So I know I haven't posted in awhile. We have been pretty busy. I had to have mouth surgery, Zachary had to have surgery on a hernia....school started, Kortnee got blessed and things have been quite crazy.....so I am going to post a couple new things. Starting with the weekend before school started we went mini golfing and we did batting cages and went to dinner. Here are a few pictures from that!

Zachary got a hole in one!

Jon is always trying to teach us how to golf
Here are Zachary and I posing....isn't a mini golf course a great place for pictures?
The happy couple.
And of course Kortnee slept through the whole thing.

OOOOOOOHHHHHHH

This is the face we most often see when Kortnee is content. This was what I found her doing in her bed one morning. She just looks around and without making a sound seems to say oooohhhh! She is so cute!
